Jay Stovall
President, Owner
Mr. Stovall is the President and CEO of Stovall Construction, Inc. His responsibilities include managing daily operations and maintaining relationships with our customers, subcontractors, and vendors. Jay has been involved with the company since before he could drive.
Mr. Stovall is an avid runner and has raced in 1 marathon and over a dozen half marathons. He and his wife, Terri, reside in Arlington and enjoy traveling, motorcycling, and spending time with friends & family.
Rob Metzger
Vice President, Owner
Mr. Metzger serves as the Vice President of Stovall Construction, Inc. Rob wears many hats at the company including oversight of project management, business operations, and company growth. His acute attention to detail and breadth of knowledge has translated to construction of over 500 projects since joining the company in 1986. Prior to joining Stovall Construction, Rob worked for a custom home builder in North Texas. There he found his passion for construction, starting as a laborer at 15 years-old, working his way up to becoming a superintendent, and also selling the homes he built. Mr. Metzger is a proud Baylor University alumnus, enjoys traveling, boating, and singing in his church's choir. Rob and his wife, Susan, reside in Arlington while his adult children, Madeline and Susannah, live in New York City and Dallas respectively.
Troy Johnson
Head Estimator
Troy joined Stovall Construction, Inc., in 2015 as the Chief Estimator. Prior to joining Stovall, Troy worked in the construction industry for over 20 years where he focused primarily on projects in the restaurant, multi-family, retail, worship, self-storage, distribution, and residential segments. Troy attended Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Ora, reside in Waxahachie and have four adult children, Chandler, Sierra, Hayden, and Zoee. In his free time, Troy enjoys college football, a fun round of golf, and cooking for family and friends.
John Owens
Senior Project Manager
John has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, 12 of which have been here at Stovall Construction, Inc. Before joining the company, John worked on construction projects for cattle feeding operations, cotton gins, water towers, and restaurants. He is a proud alumnus of Texas A&M University and in his free time enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. John and his wife, Brandy, reside in Mansfield with their daughters Morgan and Allie Jo.
Michael Sawyers
Senior Project Manager
Michael joined Stovall Construction, Inc., in 2015. Prior to joining the Stovall team, Michael worked in the commercial construction industry for over 20 years. Throughout his career, Michael has specialized in oversight and project management for projects in the restaurant, movie theater, retail shell, tenant improvement, and parking garage segments. He is an avid hunter, enjoys motorcycling, and is a Texas Tech Red Raider fan. Michael resides in Sanger with his two children, Victoria and Coleman.
